Club Info - Saltwater Fly Anglers of Delaware
The Saltwater Fly Anglers of Delaware was formed by our founding father, Don Avondolio, in the year 2000. Don's dedication to fly fishing brought him to assemble this club, in order to bring interested saltwater fly anglers together to promote the sport, to gain and share knowledge of the sport, to freely exchange information between saltwater fly anglers, and most importantly, to have fun while doing it.
The SFAoD monthly club meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. Our monthly meetings include guest speakers, fly tying demonstrations, casting demos, fly fishing outings, and much more! The meetings are held at the Rolling Meadows Clubhouse, our usual venue, at 7 PM. Rolling Meadows is the development behind the Wawa on the southbound side of Rt. 1, Lewes, at the turn for Cape Henlopen State Park. Go into the development to the 1st right turn and the clubhouse is immediately on your right upon turning.
The Saltwater Fly Anglers of Delaware Officers
The SFAoD Officers are a group of fellow saltwater fly angler "elected volunteers" that we call the Board of Directors. The folks on the Board all have equal rank, with their primary goal being to keep the club afloat and keep it interesting and fun for the members. Very simple, yet very efficient. All members of the Board of Directors are pledged to follow the rules stated in the club's bylaws. Listed below are the esteemed Board of Directors, in not so alphabetical order:
Don Avondolio - Founder / Director
